Community Give Back: 

There are two opportunities to give back to the Community at this event.  Donate a canned good or a children’s costume.

Canned good donations will be collected and donated to Food for Others.

In our nation’s capital area, the high cost of living forces many families who are struggling to make ends meet to choose between spending money for food, or on other basic needs such as housing and healthcare. Since 1995, Food for Others has been helping many of these families.

Food for Others is an important part of Northern Virginia’s safety net for those needing food when an emergency strikes and for the growing number of working poor who need to supplement their inadequate food supplies.

And/or you can donate a Halloween Costume for a child in need through Carpenter’s Shelter.

Carpenter's Shelter would like to help make this Halloween a spooktacular one for the children they serve. This is possible through Carpenter's Shelter Halloween Wishlist Program! If you opt to become a sponsor, we ask that you try to fulfill the entire request (meaning 1 full costume on the list) as closely as possible.

What happens once you decide you want to become a sponsor?

5. Kindly label the item(s) purchased; bring to the event and we will deliver the donations to Carpenters Shelter.
