POWER OF PURPOSE: Business Events Industry Week is committed to helping event stakeholders and their business partners advance the role that gatherings of people with purpose play in the economic, social and intellectual enrichment of people and communities everywhere. We are in the pursuit of this opportunity for everyone, because it matters everywhere. WHY IT MATTERS: After two years of restrictions on gatherings, communities, organizations and people that rely on events to enhance their quality of life are suffering. It’s time to restore what has been lost and build a pathway forward. POP is an annual one-trip call-to-action for business events stakeholders everywhere to gather in Washington, D.C. — through a series of co-located new/existing experiences — as one global movement to do business, architect their future, demonstrate the power of inclusivity, showcase innovation and insights, and advance key policy initiatives. POP will use locations and venues throughout the Washington, D.C. region as an inspirational canvas for a weeklong series of experiences that features professional development, a commercial marketplace, idea incubators, community social transformation activities and networking experiences.
